Jeff Morgenthaler has a diverse set of skills that add breadth to Folio's competencies.

Jeff is a writer who respects the simple declarative sentence. His experience includes managing all of the corporate communications and investor relations for an international venture capital start-up that focused on opportunities in the former Soviet Union.

In addition to handling business communications, he is the author of an award-winning borderlands history, and of two more Texas histories that are in production. Jeff also founded and served as CEO of an Internet start-up that successfully produced an innovative Web search technology just in time for the Internet meltdown. As a result, his communications experience is augmented by a range of Web skills (this Website was done entirely in-house), although he prefers to lateral Folio's more involved visual projects to outside specialists, relegating himself to oversight.

Jeff is married to Folio's other principal, Jeanne Buchanan. Like Jeanne, Jeff has a background that might not be obvious. Before moving to the Texas Hill Country in 2002, Jeff served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel in two international energy companies, interspersed with three stints in private practice.
