Jeanne Buchanan
Since founding Folio in 2002, Jeanne Buchanan has focused on marketing and public relations for small businesses and community organizations, while maintaining relationships with a select group of larger companies.
Jeanne's forte was not always small businesses. Three NYSE corporations and a NASDAQ company selected Jeanne as their vice president of corporate communications. She has produced award-winning annual reports, managed information flows during high-profile mergers, handled investor relations during successful proxy solicitations and drawn her companies and executives the attention necessary for them to become CEO of the Year, Energy Company of the Year and the recipient of Business in the Arts Award.
Jeanne has designed and launched logos and brands. She led the creation of corporate Websites and was the architect of an Intranet site for more than 32,000 employees.
In more than one company Jeanne was the point person for relations with Wall Street analysts, fielding their questions, working through their financial models and keeping them informed of the company's progress while making sure that all SEC simultaneous disclosure obligations were scrupulously met.
(For more about Jeanne's business and personal background, see her LinkedIn page.)
With a bachelor's degree in English and an MBA in marketing, Jeanne has a model educational background for her profession.
Jeanne is married to Folio's other principal, Jeff Morgenthaler. Since leaving the corporate swirl and moving to the Texas Hill Country in 2002, Jeanne has kept busy with Folio, while leaving enough time for her goats and orchids.
