Folio Communications on the Web
You are bigger than you think--market like it.
Sure, it's important to be on the Web. But it's also important to be in the Web.
To get into the Web, a business must learn to use "social media"--or "online interactive media." Social media reach out to other people on the Web. Think of blogs, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Leveraged to their greatest advantage, they integrate with each other and with other Web-based communications to touch prospects and customers. In our opinion, the social media jury is still out. In the right circumstance, it is a powerful tool; in other situations it isn't worth the time and expense. We help guide clients through the process.
We develop business-oriented websites, and we work with clients across the range of Web-based techniques. We help them design and implement their Web presence strategy. For some, we ghost write blog entries and "tweets" (but there are reasons why that might not be the best approach, and we'll explain them to you). For others, we produce videos for YouTube outreach, or podcasts for their website.
Even when we're overseeing a complex website project for a corporate company, we prefer simplicity. We want to communicate, not dazzle. And we want our sites to be fast, rather than bogged down with Flash elements and splashy graphics. We want Websites that work.
