Folio Communications Success Stories
We have what you're looking for--results.
Pam Lewis & Associates is a small research and development consultancy specializing in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. Their client list had been stable for years, but when one large client downsized, the need for diversification became prominent. Folio helped the company identify its strengths and match those abilities to customer needs. We guided PL&A to a strong customer-oriented posture that came across in new marketing materials, an updated Website, a higher industry profile and an outreach strategy. The outcome: The company's client list has doubled, and its work load has grown to a point that it can be highly selective about new clients.
Critical Path Strategies is a flourishing worldwide sales consultancy; its client list is studded with Fortune 500 companies. But even a successful business like CPS can benefit from a strategically selected marketing boost. A key CPS partner had been working on a book about sales team management, but the manuscript was languishing. The partner asked Folio to step in and drive the project to a conclusion. Folio spearheaded editing, designing, producing, publishing and marketing Building a Successful Selling Organization. We secured a cost-efficient cooperative ad in the New York Times that caught the eye of an executive with a need for a sales-team overhaul. The outcome: A new million-dollar account for CPS.
The Boerne Public Library is a small-town institution in an affluent, fast-growing community. Long located in a historic building across from the town square, the library had outgrown its facilities; expansion was long overdue. The challenge was to convince the public that meeting the community's demand for library services was worth the price tag--and worth incurring municipal debt. Folio, working closely with the library's staff and board, coordinated a public relations campaign highlighting the wide range of benefits that the library delivers. Using media releases, coordinated letters to the editor, flyers, e-mail campaigns and op-ed pieces, Folio raised the library's profile and increased awareness of its value. The outcome: an overwhelming two-thirds of voters approved the library's bond issue.
